What is the Webby Awards?
"The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet."
The Webbys was established in 1996 by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) to celebrate and honor internet excellence in seven major categories: websites, video, advertising, media & PR, social, apps, mobile & voice, games, and podcasts. The Webbys is backed by over 2,000 member judging bodies comprising executive members from the IADAS and associate members who are former Webby winners, nominees, and other internet professionals.
So, What does it mean to be a Webby Honoree?
At Deskera, we are super excited about this award as this title is only granted to the top 20% of all work entered in the 24th Annual Webby Awards. Getting recognized by IADAS is a great achievement for any app, considering that Webby Awards are considered "Internet's highest honor" and "The Oscars of the Internet".
